Rick Owens Drkshdw Hoodie is a long black zip-up. It goes past the hips in front and drops lower still at the back. Pale cords hang down the chest. Against that much black they stand out more than you’d think.

What Stands Out

The back. The hem sweeps down into a loose point and swings when you walk. Up front, the cords are the only light thing on it, and they hang straight beside the zip. The zip is dark metal and doesn’t break anywhere.

Fabric

My guess is mid-weight cotton jersey, maybe fleece, with a dry matte surface. The blend isn’t something I can read off a picture, so the label is where to check. I’d guess soft, and it hangs straight instead of standing off the body.

Fit

Long and loose in the body, snug at the cuffs. Your usual size gives the look in the photo. If the chest feels too wide, go down a size. Rick Owens already runs big, so when you’re torn between two sizes, the smaller is usually right. Length won’t change with size, it’s built into the design, so a bigger size just means more width.
